Venus seems to have matured pretty nicely. When I first saw her, she was pretty raw, direct - but always honest.
You didn't have to be told she was from Compton, she communicated that quite clearly
The honest is still there and has always been there, but now she delivers it with class, and grace. It's not only the things she says, but the things she does. Fighting for Gender equality on and off court, promoting tennis as a whole and articulating the importance of fans and support, going to school, Running a successful Interior deco company, securing design deals (E.g. Eleven). She has just grown so well, and has what seems to be a fully and successful life.
A lot of players have seen this, and have spoken positively about Venus, complimenting what she has managed to achieve. And while doing all this of course, she has managed to win slams.
And she's not planning to quite tennis like some noteable others. Venus=Wonderwoman
