I say that if she starts to play better and better leading up to the US Open a semi, final, or win isn't out of the picture, but if she continues the form from the Bank of the West and doesn't get into shape, we could be looking at another typical quarterfinal...

quarter or semifinal(depends on draw)

In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the desert of the truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams
In the middle of the night

here we go again.....

I hope seles will do well, i hope she can reach the semi's and if she does she will have done brilliantly, iam not stupid enough to really believe she's gonna win it, it's been over 6 years since her last grandslam and i haven't seen anything on the court recently to make me think she can do better than she has in the last 6 years..
However stranger things have happened and a part of me would love to see her win one more final slam before she hangs her boots up, maybe god has one more final twist planned in her amazing but tragic career...

really depends on her draw. QFs have been the norm lately, unfortunately. I hope her foot heals...
I wish she would rest up well for the open - i think that monica feels like she needs/wants a lot of match play before big events, but it does seem to me she is a bit tired by the time the second week of slams come around.

anyway, I would LOVE to see monica win another slam. so best of luck to her.

I look at people like Andre Agassi and Monica Seles, and of course what they did. I was always amazed at how Monica came back after so long and did so well. I try to keep that as an inspiration. He who doubts loses. (Serena Williams)

if she's not on her game from the start...i sense an early exit (b4 4th round) if she is playing ok-ish then i think she will make the qtrs. i dont think she will get any further than that

4round or quarters

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

Fourth round
