Most Shocking/Freakish Loss of a Top Player to a Relative "unknown"

Some people seem shocked that Venus could lose to Domi, especially in straight sets...

What to you have been the most shocking or the most freakish losses of top players to a relative "unknown", taking into consideration that top player's form at the time of the loss?("unknown" to mean a player who hasn't had any big wins before and not established up and comer)

In recent memory mine would have to be Venus losing to Pironkova at the 06 AO 1st rd

Daniela´s loss to Melanie Gloria a few years ago at Quebec City comes to mind.

Lindsay's loss to Lisicki at Fed Cup a couple weeks ago

Granted, Lindsay was still on her "comeback" and Sabine has shown that she can play well... But, considering Lindsay's comeback results (only losing 2 matches, both to top 5 plays), it is shocking she lost, especially with the scoreline

I used to list my favorite tennis players here...
...then they all retired.
I used to keep track of my rankings in fantasy games here...
...then I realized how much I suck.
I used to update this signature, once in a while...
...then I realized no one actually reads it.

That, and her loss to Schaul in 2004 in Strasbourg

But every player has these losses.

Ivanovic * Kvitova * Serena
