VAMOS ALEX!!!!

The tour's sexiest gentleman beat Gaston Gaudio in the quarters easily, beat Albert Costa the Roland Garros champion and his best friend 6-1, 6-1 and then dismantled Juan Carlos Ferrero in straight sets in the finals 6-4, 6-1, 6-3!!!!!!! (best of five finals)

sorry to those of you who object to atp threads in GM but I was just sooo happy and knew there had to be some ALEX fans up in here that maybe don't go to the ATP "ghettoized" forum too often.

Yes, Congratulations Alex, great to see that your "form" is "outstanding" again. Shame you had to beat up on Albert earlier, but i think Al's taken enough ego-massaging from his fellow spaniards in the last months. Now, try to be nice to JC next time and let him win a darned title. He needs to join the club too.

You have long been my goal, been my chasing, been my soul. I have hung out on the edge. But I just couldn't let go. There's a time to forgive. There's a time to forget. Close your eyes, get ready, set. Walk me down this fall I'm taking but don't let me go yet. Oh let me go, sweetheart, throw me, around you, like you know me. And remember me too. Remember me too from a dream i had of you. Mary Margaret O'Hara | Dream I Had | Apartment Hunting | 2002.

Well in fairness Ferrero got in his licks over Moya in Monte Carlos, so he has had some of that ego-massaging that you speak of -just not where he wanted it most, and not in a long while
