A Great Final

What i think, inroder for Venus and Serena to have a great final against eachother is the serve. It has to be good. Not just get the first serve in, but get it in with some spunk on it. Venus didn't serve well against Serena at all at wimbledon even though she had a high first serve percentage. She was serving around 100-105mph. Looking at Serena's arms that wasn't going to scare her and it didn't. But if you watched all of Venus' matches you noticed during their Doubles match before the finals against. Srebotnik and someone else, Venus was serving very hard, and not only hard but consistent. I think this is what aggrivated her shoulder or arm. In doubs, i think Venus and Serena should tone it down on their serves. Save some energy for Singels. I don't know what happend to her act the French cuz they didn't play doubs, but her serve sucked there also. But to me, that is the key. With both of them, you notice and realize that when they are serving great, there entire game falls into place. So far this year we have seen the topspin, and spin the serve in Venus. Now coming into the bank of the west she has been booming her bombs. I remember the 2000 final against lindsay. She blew her off the court like 6-4 6-1 or 6-1 6-4. She also had 15 aces. That type of Venus is un stoppable. This is the Venus that needs to show up next time she faces lil sis!

Maybe she just approaches the hardcourt season with more confidence and entitlement. Then again, the same could have been said about wimby......
