What Do You Consider Closer.....

A 7/5, 6-4 match or a 6-1, 0-6, 6-1 match. A friend and I were debating, to me a 7/5, 6-4 is a more hotly contested match than the latter. He argues that a 3 set match is always closer than a two set match. I think he is nuts.

Victoria Duval - coming to a slam near you
Françoise Abanda definitely a future #1 --- Taylor Townsend devastation on the march
Venus and Serena ferocious grannies --- Kimiko Date Krumm great granny still doing her thing.

7-5 6-4 is definately a much closer match. 6-1 0-6 6-1 match may have gone to three sets, but those sets would have been extremely uncompetitive and probably with lots of service breaks. In 7-5 6-4, there may have only been two service breaks.

for sure a 7-5 6-4 match is closer, was there any more pressure being up 5-1 5-0 o each set? than maybe 5-4???
