Re: Gold Coast SF- Peer vs Azarenka-Who will win

I'm not sure if the stats will back me up but I think Shahar finds it difficult to win when there is some friendship or comradery. This is why I think it was more difficult for her to get a win against Obziler. So I think the match will be tough but she will prevail.

She had no problem getting so many wins over Bartoli when they were doubles partners. I don't think that will be her problem.
It is going to be a very tough match, but I believe Shahar will win in 3 sets.

Yep, Vika will dictate rallies. It will depend on whether she can keep positive numbers and serve well.

Are you kidding me? I am not saying that Shahar will win for sure, but you can't argue with that that she is the strong fav and won't be crashed by Azarenka (Who is one of my faves as well FYI). Shahar has been for more than a year now in the top 20 and reached things that Vika only dream about them at night, I think she got the exp and game to handle a havier hitter than her (you can look her H2H vs Sharapova and look that tough she doesn't have one win in 3 atttemps she got Maria worried every single time).
After saying all of that, The Safina match was a long one, Shahar must be tiered so I still don't know who will it be. Vika is looking strong and a upset here is not out of the question.

SHAHAR PEER
