i think Smashnova won in Budapest after losing just 11 or 12 games( And she had no bye in 1 round)

it was 2005
12 games (confirmed)

Smashnova comes to mind in Budapest 2005. 12 games lost in 5 matches. Venus won in Istanbul in 2005 as well only dropping 12 games but she played 4 matches.
