Hamburg gone - yes or no ?

I was without internet access for a while, with the result that my old username is kaput. Oh well, so I'm a junior member again.

In contrast to some other posters here, I wasn't really happy to hear that the Betty Barclay Cup is going to be sold. Now I have read some comments here on the board which say that it will stay. But I haven't read anything about that in teletext or newspapers.

Can anyone give a confirmation for one of the two options ?

Huh? How would your username not be vaild just because you didn't have internet acess for a while. That doesn't make sense.

There's probably no connection between these 2 things. It's just the way it is, and I have no explanation. And I can't say when the problem occurred exactly.

I just checked your account and nothing seems to be wrong . Do you want me to send you the password to your email address?

Josh: I have got the password, and it works. If I type in 'GoDominique' and the password and click on 'login', the 'thanks for logging in'-screen appears. But then the login doesn't continue. Instead I am sent back to the page where I came from (the 'welcome to WTAWorld'-page) and I am not logged in.
And it has nothing to do with my computer. Today I am posting on a different one, but it's still the same.

Of course I would still be happy to be able to post under that name. So if you know anything which might help please let me know.

GoDom, I can delete your first account, change your name to GoDominique again and give you back your original amount of posts. You will be able to login as GoDominique again but with the password you are using now. Is that ok?

Nothing has been resolved. Hamburg looks to be in severe danger, but the German Open is threatened as well.

Qatar is apparently interested in buying the Betty Barclay Cup for $2.5 million.

According to DTB president Waldenfels, none of the tournaments are financially viable. However, they are most eager to save Berlin from extinction.

But losing Hamburg would be a major blow for the German federation - which ironically has its headquarters at Rothenbaum.

From what they wrote, we will first know for sure in October, if there will be a Hamburg tournament next year.
