These are the last of my non Jelena pics that I took at Wimbledon.
Sorry about the iffy quality but my camera was crap.
Again if anyone wants to use them for websites and stuff go ahead.
This is Kim and Justine on a practice court doing stretch downs. They weren't actually practising together but they were excercising and using the empty courts as a running field to do some jogging together.
This was late in the day so that's why the courts were empty, usually they are quite busy.
Gosh ! it's Iroda again !
Like my mate Stefano Capriati she was practicaly camped at Wimbledon. I saw her everywhere and she was always chatting to some guy!
This time she was deep in conversation with the Scud Missile.
This is a pic of Pat Cash next to the practice courts. We had a chat about his book to which I educated him about the use of the word 'belter' to describe a book such as his, to which he found rather amusing.
However Pat was not amused with the Wimbledon organisers who boycotted his book from being sold in the huge Wimbledon merchandise store that is located in Cente Court (or was it Court No1? I can never remember which was which). Pat didn't tell me the reasons why they banned his book but I had a pretty good idea given the sensational nature of the excepts that I have read. I'm sure the Wimbledon Committee decided that such reading and strawberries and cream did not compliment each other.
I made a suggestion to Pat to set up a little stall outside the main gates and see if that would ruffle a few feathers amongst the Committee. Pat has a natural mischievous grin and he showed it to me when I suggested that idea.
This is my last pic and it is by far my best pic even though I've forgotten their names
help anyone ?
This is the balcony of the main players restaurant and it's a pic of 2 players and their coaches who are were extremly nice and very friendly, not only with each other but to everyone around them including myself.
When I asked for the pic the 2 coaches got out of their chairs to get out of the way of the shot. I protested and said something to the effect of "errr I want all of you in the photo". One of the coaches replied " but we're only the coaches"
I then said " Doesn't matter ! the more pretty ladies I can get in the shot the better ! "
That brought a smile and a laugh to all of them.
I say it's my best pic because it was taken on my last day which turned out to be a nightmare but meeting these players and getting this pic made that last day worthwhile.
