An Article on BBC says

that Venus' place in the Season Ending Championships, now that she lost today, is in doubt. Yet she is almost 500 points ahead of Hantuchova, and I can hardly see her winning Zurich and Linz bth of which she would need to qualify over Venus.

If Hantchova does well in Zurich, I'm sure Venus will add Linz or Quebec.

Daniela "only" needs to win Zurch, IF venus don't play more tournaments.

or QF in Zurich and winning Linz.

and knowing that daniela wins a tournament every 5 year...
I don't see it happening (as much as I would want to see dani play in madrid) + I thought venus was ahead of maria too? and seeing her recent form... daniela has a bigger chance of playing the masters because someone has to retire than otherwise

Only Asia was on Venus's agenda this fall, so I doubt she will add any tournaments just to qualify

ONLY...you're ONLY asking this of a player who's ONLY tournament wins have come at ONLY one place iw. You ONLY get one wish are you going to waste it on Hantu winning Zurich, or save it for Christmas?

"And for the best of the teen-agers who followed her, and who occasionally referred to her as over the hill, Graf had a ready answer: against top-ranked Martina Hingis, Graf wound up 7-2. Graf's stirring 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 throttling of Hingis at the French Open final this June was perhaps the most emphatic parting shot the game has ever seen. "

Re: An Article on BBC says

LMAO ^ but seriously....she's in JH's section of the draw....do you think she's winning zurich?? even i can't keep a straight face just thinking about it Dani beating JH or Serena or Ana or even Masha in this current form (not a stretch but still if Masha comes through that side you gotta believe she ain't gonna lose that final if per chance Dani by some act of God beats JH) or Kuzzy for that matter or Lena D and her brilliant serve ( )

Exclamation Re: An Article on BBC says

After Venus lost her SF today, she has 2,470 points int he YEC race; Daniela has 2096, which is a difference of 374 points. Plus Venus is now in 7th place and Maria is in the 8th and final spot (Venus leads Maria by 39 points). At this point, Danela would have to play well in Zurich and Linz, possibly winning one to qualify and Maria would have to do the same. If you saw the Zurich draw, you'd know that Daniela has a tough road ahead of her. She plays Safina in the first round and could face Justine in the QF.

Granted, Venus would have been in a better position if she won in Japan and Thailand, but it could have been worse.

Good Luck In 2012 To The Following:

Serena Williams
Vania King, Sloane Stephens

Well Daniela won't go past the QF in Zurich, unless Justine feels generous

Re: An Article on BBC says

Daniela will probably lose some points because she's defending a final here in Zurich.

So that'll make her task even harder.

Serena. Simona. Ana. Petra. Venus.
Clijsters, Henin, Dementieva, Davenport.
Martina Hingis - "No one else played like Hingis - no one could."
