Who has the most all-court game of these "newer" players?

I haven't been following tennis for a few years, hence the poll. Thanks!

Note: All-court IMO means that the player can come in on their own volition, they can hit both traditional and swing volleys, they can slice, they can drop shot, they have varying serves. They can comfortably do all of that though they may be stronger in some areas than others.

I love you, Dean. I love you, Kiera.

Re: Who has the most all-court game of these "newer" players?

I really think that the biggest talent from these players is Nicole Vaidisova and it isn't because of I'm big fan of her... she is just really young so she needs to improve her mental toughness, volleys, movement.. but we can see that her movement is much better than in 2006 and also her grass game raised up a lot.. we could see this in Wimbledon. I think she'll be just better and better and she needs 1-2 yrs to improve to be much better and much better... her volleys aren't too good but she's almost always 100% in the net.. her smashes, halfvolleys are great I think... her the worst thing is her mental toughness.. but just sometimes... like against Pennetta where she smashed her racket and her emotions went out so she could play her best again and crushed Pennetta in tiebreak to win whole match.. sometimes it helps Nicole and sometimes she can crash like against Ivanovic in Wimbledon.

Her movement will be better and better I think.. her backhand is definitely better than in 2006.. it becomes more consistent I think and when Nicole's on fire her backhand is also amazing.. not just forehand... definitely Nicole has got one of the best serve and forehand on WTA TOUR circuit.. she doesn't need 195 km/h to hit ace or fantastic serve which forces her opponent to make forced error.. she just doesn't waste her height and her serve is amazing.. I think Nicole can be No.1 some time but she needs to win some big tournament or reach some big final I think.. I can't see it this year maybe in Quebec City but I don't count this tournament.. I suppose Nicole has to win this tour.. but you have to also look at that she couldn't play full schedule this year.. she missed whole european clay court season and US Hardcourts season so it's a lot of points and she had a lot of points to defend from these tournaments so her rank is bad.. but she could be in the ranking with Chakvetadze or maybe Ivanovic who knows.. around TOP 5-6 if she plays full schedule, unfortunately her right wrist injury and mild form of glandular fever didn't allowed her to play full schedule.. I hope she'll be right to end this season successfully with some nice results but I hope she'll mainly shine in 2008 and win some big tournament and makes some big successes.

Definitely Ivanovic, and I give Golovin 2nd place because she's willing to come to net. Both Ana and Tati need to work on their volleys though, because they're far from perfect. But it's not like any of those players listed in the polll are great all-court players.

Re: Who has the most all-court game of these "newer" players?

Golovin I guess.. Chakvetadze can do amazing things from the baseline but her net game isn't that good. Ivanovic is still too much of a ball basher, but it's getting better.

So everything that makes an all court player.

Out of those selections, Jankovic and Golovin have the best volleys and the most variety in their game for sure. Vaidisova most definately has the least variety and depends almost solely on a very big serve and a huge forehand.

Those aren't the best choices in terms of all court game. I think Agnes and Golovin have the most all court game out of these players.
