Congrats Venus.

How did she play overall?
Did she have any leg bandage?

Re: Tokyo QF: (1) V. Williams Def. A. Molik 7-6(7-4), 6-3

VENUS MOLIK
Aces: 15 22
doubles: 6 3
1st serve%: 66% 68%
break points saved: 6/8 9/13
1st serve points won: 36/52 32/49
2ns serve points won: 9/27 8/23

overall a good tournament for Alicia, but I thought she should have taken the second set, twice 30-0 up at 3-3 and 3-4, but lost them both...anyway, good effort and congrats to Venus

Brilliant serving stats for Molik.
That's what separates her from a lot of girls who can't serve to save their lives.

Great work Vee another good tough match up for you & you pulled through so I'm so happy for you Title is yours now Vee, just keep being agressive & consistent!

Lish, I'am so impressed with your week in Tokyo, you won two matches so comfortably & you push a player like Vee to two tough sets so you should have something to be proud of
