Her name is not Williams... lol

I dont think Justine would be able to find a partner to mess with....Seems like you have to be super friendly and easy to get along with... like petrova. lol

I mean im sure Justine and Elke clijsters could go all the way to olympic gold....especially with Venus and Serena in the draw...

Re: If Justine played doubles how good would she be?

The top doubles teams stink. That's why Dinara and Dechy won the USO.
Justine, if she skipped singles, could have won the USO doubles title with 20 other players.

Just watch the Russia-USA doubles match. Nadia is a much better doubles player than Raymond, but Nadia focuses on singles.
The current top doubles teams are all weak tennis players.

Mara, Ai, Kata, Sammy...are weak players when they are all in the top 40 in singles

Re: If Justine played doubles how good would she be?

She'd be out of the top ten, her doubles matches i have seen shes pretty useless and if she played full tiem her singles ranking would plummet, she's one of the weakest players on tour!

I think with her serve and her athleticism, her power, her court mobility, I just think when she’s on, she’s the greatest player we’ve ever seen, ever. Now, whether her record is the greatest remains to be seen because she hasn’t retired yet. But I think she is really the greatest player. I have seen Martina and Steffi at their best. There are little chinks in those players’ armor, but it was a different era, where you didn’t need to be the perfect player.

The are all weak compared to the quality doubles players who focus on singles. Like Sveta and Nadia and Justine, and many others.
Even Dinara is a step up from those players.

Quite.

And there are people who say that, should the top ATP players devote themselves more to doubles, they would have no problem trouncing the creaky old farts doubles specialists that populate the ATP doubles circuit.

Re: If Justine played doubles how good would she be?

I don't think she's a good doubles partner. I guess she wants to make everything alone

Nadia Petrova.....♥
Svetlana Kuznetsova.....♥
Venus & Serena Williams.....♥
Mary Pierce.....♥
