Serena(8), Henin(7), Venus(6), Martina(5).

I can't wait until the end of all their careers to compare!

Well, Serena has the Grand Slam and Justine does not (as of now) have the career slam. So, Serena is still well in lead here. Nevertheless, congrats on Justine for the win.

Let's not count the chicks before they hatch. Besides, even if Justine wins AO 2008, Serena still has a Grand Slam and Justine won't.

Justine will win Wimbledon, so she and Serena's careers will be equally as important. Justine for being the dominant force and Serena for being a pioneering minority in an all white sport by being such a recognizable figure. Yes, I know Althea Gibson and Arthur Ashe were literally the trailblazers, but Serena and Venus could both start a whole generation. Martina was also special in the fact that she was the first player to win Grand Slams with a complete modern game (great all around and with good power for her time).

Tennis's Silver Millennium
Queen Serenity (22)

Princess Garbi (RG '16), Sailor Ana ('08 RG), Sailor Venus (7), Sailor GOATra (2), Sailor Kerber ('16 AO)
Sailor Darth Vika (2), Sailor Sveta (2), Sailor Simona, Sailor Pliskova
Sailor St. Kim (4), Sailor Mahree (2), Sailor Seles (9), Sailor Dokic, Sailor Testud, Sailor Zheng

You are brainless. Serena was more dominant than Justine ever was, I don't think people are suddenly going to say Serena's only importance was being a black woman in a white dominated sport.

I think with her serve and her athleticism, her power, her court mobility, I just think when she’s on, she’s the greatest player we’ve ever seen, ever. Now, whether her record is the greatest remains to be seen because she hasn’t retired yet. But I think she is really the greatest player. I have seen Martina and Steffi at their best. There are little chinks in those players’ armor, but it was a different era, where you didn’t need to be the perfect player.

Counting the chicks before they hatch, again? When will they learn? Justine can get injured, because she is playing so much. Anything can happen. I don't dare predict the future.

Justine will pass Serena imo. Right now, I'd still put Hingis ahead of Venus even though she has one less singles GS to her name.

Jelena Dokic.Vera Zvonareva.Tatiana Golovin.Mary Pierce.Monica Seles.Martina Hingis.Anna Kournikova

martina will never win grandslam again unless the top 10 seeds withdraw
oh well maybe not bcoz she can lose to a player rank 250 or maybe she should go back to juniors maybe she can get a chance

HOW CAN YOU FACE A PROBLEM IF THE PROBLEM IS YOUR FACE?

Adding the words IMO changes everything. Good for you. BTW, Martina has a bit more variety but less singles slams. She was a better doubles player with Anna though.

I don't know. I think it depends. Some people count doubles as well. If Serena wins 2 mixed doubles Grand Slams she will have All 4 Singles, Doubles, and Mixed. That is very very very distinct.

Anyone even care about mixed doubles?

If Justine played AO it could very easily be Justine (8), Serena (7) now.

Think back to US Open 2003 and Australian 2004. Serena was at the top then. If you want to make those statements, it could easily be Serena (9), Justine (6)
