Do you expect a good USO womens final this year?

There hasn't been a great competitive USO womens final since the mid 90s. Could this be the year that changes?

All I really care about is seeing a good tennis match.

Nope. Did you see the disparity in the quality of the two semifinals ?

Nope. Justine will crush Sveta, as usual.

If Svetlana comes out remembering what a good player she is - then yes, we could be in for a decent final.

Re: Do you expect a good USO womens final this year?

Nope.

it might be a contest that goes to three sets for the first time since 1995, but I doubt that, and even if it does it will resemble more the first semi than the second and be due to Justine being tired and flat then getting back into it.

I don't anticipate a high quality competitive match, unfortunately. Sveta always struggles against Justine.

Re: Do you expect a good USO womens final this year?

It will be competitive, yes.
But the quality won't be that high.

Sharapova / Bartoli / Azarenka / Rezaï
Cornet / Karatantcheva / Kirilenko
Safina / Dulko / Görges / Shvedova
Fedak / Czink / Harkleroad / Gallovits
Kleybanova / A.Bondarenko / Watson

I like her, but with Kuzzy, you just don't know what you're going to get lately. Justine will play well in the Finals. Being a past Champion, think Kuzzy will play well, also.

Yes it will be a good final because Kuznetsova will win it without a doubt. It's 100% guaranteed.

It will be the fourth consecutive mauling in a GS final.

I think with her serve and her athleticism, her power, her court mobility, I just think when she’s on, she’s the greatest player we’ve ever seen, ever. Now, whether her record is the greatest remains to be seen because she hasn’t retired yet. But I think she is really the greatest player. I have seen Martina and Steffi at their best. There are little chinks in those players’ armor, but it was a different era, where you didn’t need to be the perfect player.

I will be surprised if Sveta wins more than 4 games total.

I'm not going to Rupologize!

The US OPEN final is going to be a very quick blow out. Justine's just going to roll to her second US OPEN title. Kuznetsova just doesn't have the mental toughness.
