Yuri did NOT leave the match

Yuri did NOT leave the match he moved to a seat further back in Sharapova's box.

According to Yahoo!: Her father could barely stand to watch, moving from his front row perch to a seat farther back in his box during the final points. http://sports.yahoo.com/ten/news?slu...v=ap&type=lgns

As much as I dislike the man, I don't think he would leave Maria's match.

Then why did CBS not show him moving back to back rows?? Does CBS try to make him look bad or what?

Re: Yuri did NOT leave the match

didn't CBS show the whole box on TV? Surely they wouldn't deliberately not show him? Maybe so?

Re: Yuri did NOT leave the match

I think he left at 5-2. They showed him picking his stuff from the ground very angry. The TV would've picked him even on the roof of the Arthur Ashe stadium, let alone a seat back. But they just showed his empty seat a few moments later.

Now who do I believe when it comes to tennis footage?

Do I believe in yahoo sports which makes a big mistake every week when it comes to tennis.
Or
Do I believe in the camera footage of CBS which shows the entire player's box.

CBS for me.

Exactly. Yahoo sports makes way too many mistakes.

Plus I highly doubt that CBS has an axe to grind with Sharpie's camp that they would want to make Sharapov look bad. He did that on his own by leaving early.

In the period from January to April 2006 Dr. Skalny sent very detailed messages to Ms Sharapova [...]: “Mildronate 1-2 X 10, repeat in 2 wks (before training or competition)”; “1 hr before competition, 2 pills of Mildronate”; “During games of special importance, you can increase your Mildronate dose to 3-4 pills (1 hr before the match). However, it is necessary to consult me on all these matters (please call)”; “30 minutes prior to a training session: Mildronat – 1 Capsule. 30-45 minutes prior to a tournament Mildronat 2 capsules”.

Re: Yuri did NOT leave the match

A person who knows how to lose won't "escape" from the stadium when her daughter is going to lose. Just Yuri can do that

Re: Yuri did NOT leave the match

So sorry for Maria... I don`t like her, but nobody deserves father like Yuri.

Ana Ivanovic

Jelena Jankovic

Vojislava Lukic

Good luck to: Davenport, Srebotnik, Kirilenko, Kostanic, Mirza and Serbian DC squad (Djokovic, Tipsarevic, Zimonjic, Bozoljac, Pashanski and Troicki)
