Sharapova will never win another slam

An extremely stupid statement, in fact, a realistic candidate for 'Stupid Statement of the Year' but somebody is going to start that thread, so why not start it now, and get it out of the way?

Never says never.

19. In the period from January to April 2006 Dr. Skalny sent very detailed messages to Ms Sharapova [...]: “Mildronate 1-2 X 10, repeat in 2 wks (before training or competition)”; “1 hr before competition, 2 pills of Mildronate”; “During games of special importance, you can increase your Mildronate dose to 3-4 pills (1 hr before the match). However, it is necessary to consult me on all these matters (please call)”; “30 minutes prior to a training session: Mildronat – 1 Capsule. 30-45 minutes prior to a tournament Mildronat 2 capsules”.

Same sort of decline like Hewitt. Limited talent and huge will gets you that far.

Cupcake draws will not save her all the time, especially in the long run. Now they are starting to be her undoing in the short run as well. Go Larry! Keep feeding her those cupcakes.

If you think it's a stupid statement then why the hell did you start the thread?

Sharapova / Bartoli / Azarenka / Rezaï
Cornet / Karatantcheva / Kirilenko
Safina / Dulko / Görges / Shvedova
Fedak / Czink / Harkleroad / Gallovits
Kleybanova / A.Bondarenko / Watson

Actually, that was a pretty good analysis, conceding Clijsters' sterling record on the surface, but also noting her rather sorry record in slam finals. Perhaps you can tell me exactly where the factual errors were in that post?

The fact that your 'great analysis' went down the toilet when Kim won USO is good enough.
