Serena's Forehand?

Didn't show up to court today. It is in the lockerroom, but fortunately her serve never leaves her.

Re: Serena's Forehand?

'hasn't' not 'didn't'. yeh her forehand is very shakey at the moment. but she has taken the 1st set

Re: Serena's Forehand?

it hasnt shown up this whole tournament. sometimes her matches are very roddickesque where she gets by because of the serve. (this doesnt means when on her game she is only serve like roddick. she clearly has an all around game)

Re: Serena's Forehand?

Serena is a good thinker. Her next plan will be to serve and volley and come in on Zvonareva's serve.

Re: Serena's Forehand?

If she will play like today she has no chance against JuJu

Re: Serena's Forehand?

She will have extra passion against Juju fueled by rivalry. =\

She isn't hitting her forehand well and she really isn't committing to her backhand at times!

Re: Serena's Forehand?

Serena will be OK, people, at least she's getting fine tuned, whereas Justine, isn't even getting good practises in.

Quote:
I think with her serve and her athleticism, her power, her court mobility, I just think when she’s on, she’s the greatest player we’ve ever seen, ever. Now, whether her record is the greatest remains to be seen because she hasn’t retired yet. But I think she is really the greatest player. I have seen Martina and Steffi at their best. There are little chinks in those players’ armor, but it was a different era, where you didn’t need to be the perfect player.
