Krajicek lets her blood tested- was seriously ill, scary development

http://www.telesport.nl/tennis/20914...derzoeken.html

Translation in English:
Michaella Krajicek, who lost in the 2nd round of the US Open against Szavay had an explanation for her defeat; Something is wrong with my body, it's going on for a long time. I want to get my blood tested as soon as possible here in the U.S. cause i want to know what's going on! In this match i fought against my body and not against my opponent!

Something is wrong with my body for a long time. I have took so many pills that they aren't working anymore. Krajicek was 2 months ago in the Quarterfinal of Wimbledon. That was a period that is was going good with my body. But for months it's going up and down. Even my voice is different, really soar! Pfeiffer? I don't know, but if it's Pfeiffer i have a big problem.

This is the first time that Krajicek speaks about her fysical condition that's teasing her for months now.I have been very ill! That maybe sounds as an excuse, but it's a fact. I'm confessing it now cause i lost, and i can't denie it anymore. I know when it's gone wrong but i don't want to talk about that, it's privet. That annoying privet conditions are since the tournament of Rome .

Misa

Other quotes after the Szavay match;

I played against myself and didn't felt the ball and my legs
Something happenend during the tournament in Rome, i don't want to say what but because of that i could't sleep for days. With one hour sleep per day i played against Serena Williams ( she lost 6-4/6-1 she did a great job then ) The tennis kept going on but i had that problem.

My fysical complaints are probably because of the stress. My parent advised me to not play tennis for a while. But i don't want my ranking to drop!

If the outcome of the bloodtest is nothing serious i want to change my schedule for the coming months ( she is playing Luxemburg, Stuttgart, Zurich, Linz ) But you can't withdraw for tournaments without a reason. But i have realised that i have played to much this year. Next year i'm going to play less tournaments. Krajicek played the last 12 months 25 tournaments(singles and doubles) and including fed cup.

My problems are because i'm so tired. If you have more experience, you can make a more balanced schedule without playing 5,6 weeks in a row. That's my plan. I'm realising now that i have played to much !

When Misa leaves the interviewspace in the Artur Ashe stadium she said; It has been to much. To much tennis!! I still have to play my second round doubles but i don't even know against who. If you are so unfresh it's time for a break.

Yes, lets just wait and see what it is, before jumping to conclusions...
But it sounds as if it could be Mononucleosis (=Pfeiffer).

Poor Misa! I hope she feels better very soon!!

And btw, if it is mononucleosis.. Agnes recovered from it!!

It could explain a lot about her inconsistency, which I assumed was all mental. I hope she's going to be okay.

That's a shame. These players work so hard, and then when they get an illness, like Molik got, it ruins the career they worked so hard to build.

The most wasted of all days is one without laughter....
Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there
Enjoy This Moment!!
HEALTH and HAPPINESS to EVERYONE

Agreed; I hope she gets better (and that it isn't something extremely serious) and can come back and be fiercely competitive!

You're right. Maybe it's nothing serious. But i can't imagine that there is nothing going on when i read this sentence --> I have took so many pills that they aren't working anymore.

So she feels sick, but has no idea what it is? I hope she wasnt on any type of Ped's or some sort of diet pills or something.

Whatever it is, I hope she recovers!
