Easy, Easy. Well done Pats, not pretty or particularly convinging.

Some of those forehands were soo wild and out, thought I was watching myself down there.

Anyone else notice Patty's got a nice new orange tint in her hair - to go with the top.

Well done, Pattaz

I would say 'nice win' but it wasn't particularly nice to watch. The conditions are too difficult out there for pretty tennis. I think Anabel just accepted that it wasn't gonna be her day in the end.

It was an awful match, especially with the hampering wind conditions, not very nice to watch at all.

I actually thought at times AMG had the better weight of shot, but just underminded by inconsistency. In particular that second serve- just woeful

Re: Toronto R1: Schnyder def. Medina Garrigues 6:3 6:2

Patty simply dealt with the conditions better. Her serving helped her at the difficult end but there wasn't really much in this. AMG was just getting frustrated by the end, oh well...

No she doesn't, her 17th tournament is 35 points, which is what she gets for this. She needs one more win to take her over Venus (and Hingis dropping).
