Is it Dani, Justine, or Andy? If Roger lose to Rafael, will Roger suffer the most?

Maria and Justine. they were just beat down by players everyone had written off. I think there is just a level of shock that know one else can really understand. And I think that for both of them the field is starting to get crowed with the next generation. Maria always like to talk about her age and refer back to it and now she knows that the current crop of young women know how to break her and she has no response.

I think Justine is hurting the most especially losing to Bartoli after putting her all in beating Serena. She brought that kid again for luck but spoiled her luck by bring the wife and child of Carlos.
Andy knew at the back of his mind knew that he was not going to win over Roger.Hantukova had no chance whatsoever either way.

I thought this was WTAworld....anyway, most likely justine because she wanted the career slam so badly and seemed to be on top of the world. Daniela is only hurting, if she is that is, because she lost to a cripple, she wouldn't have realistically expected to beat a healthy serena at that stage anyways. At least Henin had a shot at the title!

justine - despite venus' play, she was definitely the favorite after beating serena. lots of people thought it was her year to win wimbledon.

in terms of whose physicallly hurting the most - serena. she can deal better though because venus won and justine didn't even get a chance.

On the mens side...Roddick...and womens Henin....they have it set SO BAD in their head to win wimbledon that it eludes them too much. They have the Michelle Kwan curse (she just cant win an Olympic gold) they want to win it so bad...that they cannot handle the pressure and cannot fight back when they are in trouble matches at Wimbledon.....like the Williams Sisters can or like Nadal and Federer can...so they PANIC at wimbledon.

Maria. Her days are numbered and she knows it. She had a small window of opportunity, before the new crop of young players really started coming into her own and the Williams where off in the clouds somewhere. Now the new crop of girls saw her get beat down and know they can her like Venus did. It's more worse for her than Justing because psychologically, she just lost her edge. Ivanovic, Bartoli, etc not to mention the established crew of Williams and Henin will start using her for practice. She knows it is coming to an end. I think she might squeeze out one more with the easy draws she seems to get so much, but after that, nada.

It has to be Justine. She and her supports felt that she was the sure winner, especially after beating Serena twice and Amelia. I don't think Andy had a chance against Roger and Roger won't feel sad because there is no way Nadal is going to beat him.

I dont know what's up with Sharapova...I dont think she's lost too much of her game ..I mean SHE DID win the US open last year and beat Henin to do it...but I can see where nicco is coming from. When Serena and Venus steamroll her...other players are going to see that she isnt as tough as they think (same for Henin now that Bartoli took care of her) The same thing happened to Venus....so thats why they didnt fear her..until she easily dismiss a top 10 player..then they know THE REAL Venus has shown up. I think Sharapova needs to play like she did in 04..that girl was hands down the #3 player (second to Vee and Rena) in my book.

I don't think Maria has the mental toughness of Venus. I think she looks like she does at times but it's not really there. Now you have these other young players who are just bad _ss. they come on the court like they own. Bartoli just knew she could win it. And of course, Venus let her know who the Queen is and who the princess is. Sharapova has gotten so much hype that players want to take her down just because they see themselves replacing her.

Yuri...he had that million spent. :) Seriously though, probably Justine. To be the favorite and #1, playing the best tennis of her life, the FO champ, and then to have Marion deny her a chance at a career slam, must really sting. She probably thought only Serena was standing in her way, and once she got rid of that obstacle, I'm sure she and her camp just knew she had it in the bag. Oh well, there's always next year.

I think Justine because she and certain others just knew this was her title after Serena's injury.

Maria beating Henin in the finals of the US Open was strange to me. It seems like Henin hasn't been that great in slam finals not name french open anymore for some time. I kind of think the 04 Maria may be gone because she's bigger and it has compromised her movement that she had back then. However I think it's possible for any of these top players to win again. You just can't write off anyone.

I kinda feel sorry for Justine. It seems like tennis is the one thing she has been able to count on. Strained relationship with parents, failed marriage and because she is not as "attractive" or charismatic, none of the endorsement deals. So I change my mind, I think it hit her the hardest.
