Join the Wimbledon 2007 Final with Wimbledon Muffins ..
.. uhhh Bartoli Cakes!!
250 gr. soft butter
185 gr. granulated sugar
250 gr. white wheat flower
1.5 thee spoon baking powder
16 muffin paper cubs
16 strawberries, each cut in 3
Heat the oven at 200 degrees C, setting 6.
Beat the butter and sugar until it has a creamy, light consistency.
Add the eggs and keep beating for another 5 min.
Sift the flower and the baking powder above the bowl (duh!) and beat to a smooth mixture.
Pour the mixture into the muffin tins (duh!) (1 spoon each though.)
Push the peaces of strawberry carefully in the middle of the muffins-to-be.
Cook them for 12 minutes or until the mixture springs back.
Let them cool off and sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
Have a real Bartoli Cake! And enjoy the Wimbledon 2007 Final, fellow posters!!
