JUSTINE HENIN: Venus remains the favorite for tomorrow.

Q. How shocked are you about what happened out there?

JUSTINE HENIN: Yeah, I'm very disappointed now. That's pretty normal. I still don't really realize what did happen. I don't understand what did happen.
But, yeah, she played her match and she did a very good job. I played a very good first set, then I had a couple of chances at the end of the second set. Didn't take these chances and the match completely turned over. I didn't feel fresh enough in the third set to compete with her. She played very good tennis.

So, yeah, it's pretty hard right now, but going to be better in a few days.

Q. Do you think you might put too much pressure on yourself to win here?

JUSTINE HENIN: Well, I'm not quite sure it's that. I mean, I had the control of the match in the first set, and then the match slowly but surely started to change a little bit.

I'm not quite sure it's a question of pressure about winning here. You know, I lost a lot of energy in the last few weeks. I played a lot. My match against Serena also has been very tough mentally, emotionally. It was hard for me to be at my best today. It's the kind of things that can happen. I'll have other chances in the future. I don't make it an obsession. I'm disappointed because I lost a Grand Slam semifinal. It's been normal to have these feelings now.

Justine will bounce back. Players lose. That's life. Her life is in a great place right now and she will focus on the positives. Best of luck for the rest of the year JUJU!!!

Good luck to VENUS and MARION in the finals

Good quotes. I know Justine can get tired so I'm was surprised she played before Wimby. Then I was just surprised she lasted as long because she played before Wimby.

Overall she did good to keep her energy up this long.

Q. Do you think she can prove it wasn't a freak result by winning against Venus?
JUSTINE HENIN: It's going to be a Grand Slam final so it's different kind of situation. Venus remains the favorite for tomorrow.

Justine mentally played the final against Serena, sometines it is hard to maintain such ahigh, kinda like how some lower ranked players cause a stunning upset only to fold at the next round.

Rena- a tennis great! 22 at striking distance.

I think Justine never expected a tough match today, so she did not give a good preparation for today for sure, at least mentally. As everybody else though, it would be an easy pass, but it was not.

which is precisely why having justine and serena meet in the quarters is ridiculous. i'm actually sorry she lost. i wanted to see venus play justine.

the ultimate let down. was afraid that would happen to serena, never thought about it happening to justine. thats why its alway one match at a time and in tennis anything can happen.

Nice of Justine not to give the NICOLE VAIDISOVA answer of "I dont' care who wins"

Justine gave the same answer previously.
She also said "I don't care" after her RG 2004 defeat. So really, it's just normal.

Justine lost all her energy beating Serena now she is kicking herself for overlooking Bartoli.Better luck next time Allez!I kinda felt sorry for her when she made that long walk from her chair to the tunnel.I hope she has someone in her life to hold her hand now, this is the time when she definitely needs pierre yves.
