It's actually not as bad as this week.
Monday is the worst day. There's not really meant to be any prolonged rain, just showers

Re: Weather forecast for next week?

Monday,Tuesday, and Wednesday have a greater chance of rain then not. Wimbledon is already behind; so I wonder at what point does the committee decide to have the atp matches reduced to B/3? Personally, I would love to see this. If only to see the consternation from the "men have more depth" crowd.

never. men should never play best of 3 in a grand slam.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml?id=3564 - very basic but been fairly spot on...get's there info from the Met Office...the met office site is slightly more detailed then the BBC one and is also where the Wimbledon organisers get their weather info from.

They could have played today, but no. Tradition is more importnat than getting through the backlog of matches

Re: Weather forecast for next week?

Its not bad at all actually. A day where the forcast is that there is a 70% chance of rain means only that there is good possibility that there will be some interuption. But it also suggests that there is a possibility that there will be no rain at all. Most likely on a day like that one can expect interuptions totaling probably no more than 2 or 3 hours. The important thing is that it looks unlikely that any day next week will be a total washout. As long as that is the case all is well.

Sure they will be delays next week but the schedule allows for substantial delays before the is a major problem. I am actually very optimistic the tournament will be finished on time.

Re: Weather forecast for next week?

They should have played today! Not to play on MS is silly and old fashioned, like much of Wimbledon.
