Re: Most likely Wimbledon will run into a 3rd week

The weather was a mess in Berlin and Rosmalen. They'll get all the matches in.

The most wasted of all days is one without laughter....
Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there
Enjoy This Moment!!

With the weather as it is in London this weekend - I wouldn't rule out a 4th week. Its like deepest November out there.

Seriously - now Glastonbury is finished the monsoon season is over.

Re: Most likely Wimbledon will run into a 3rd week

I think the most likley outcome is play on the middle sunday, other than that it should be fine.

Re: Most likely Wimbledon will run into a 3rd week

Ihope it rains and they have to play the middle sunday or the 3rd week monday, thus giving the 'true' fans more of a chance in obtaining tickets.
It makes for a more interesting atmosphere - i.e 2001 mens final

Re: Most likely Wimbledon will run into a 3rd week

That's wrong.
During first week it's probable that play will be frequently interrumpted, but from next weekend or maybe a bit later high temperatures are announced.
From what I heard, July will be very warm, hot in Western Europe.
