WIMBLEDON CHAMPION DAVID NALBANDIAN

It has a nice ring to it, don't you think? I bet the ATP would disagree though! But with Nalbandian on track to reach the final over Xavier Malisse, we have the situation of the past 2 slams: New Ball vs Veteran Underdog. If Hewitt pulls a Safin or a Ferrero (I don't think he will, but you just never know with tennis and especially with grand slam finals) this could likely happen!!! And you complain about the Williams sisters. Just imagine if the three GS champs this year are Thomas Johannson, Albert Costa and David Nalbandian. ROTLMAO! What a nightmare for the USTA. Of course all three would lose first round of the US Open and every slam from now on, returning to their semi-journeyman status.

I thought Venus suggested the solution. She said that there should be equal pay and that the men should play best of three sets. I could not agree more! I think this would certainly help the star players as well. If Nalbandian wins Wimbledon, it just might happen.

Asmus, you better read your crystal ball again. Malisse is taking it all.

I don't have a sig. So sue me.

David seems to have a bad reptuation for being a choker. After winning the first two sets, he dropped the next two by very one-sided scores. It'll be interesting to see how he'll start off tomorrow!

It might not have been just David choking.

Malisse got checked out by the doctor and played better after that it appears.

But anything can happen tommorrow.

Good luck David

IN truth I think Malisse has a better chance to knock out Hewitt.

Nalbandian wasn't choking. Xavier just outplayed him in set 3 and 4!!!!

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

anyone who thinks that david did not choke in this match is deluding themsleves, i watched every one of the points played in this match and although malixises play imporved in sets 3 and 4, davids defenently fell. something similar happened yesterday against lapenti but he faced his demonds and finally came through, hope he does the same tomorrow.

sorry I am not so into the atp!

In the middle of the night
I go walking in my sleep
Through the desert of the truth
To the river so deep
We all end in the ocean
We all start in the streams
We're all carried along
By the river of dreams
In the middle of the night

Xavier is the only one who stands a chance against hewitt in the final, don't see david pushing lleyton to the edge...

Go XAVIER
