Anna Chakvetadze finally break off Russian TOP10 worst nightmare in 2007!!!

All six players from Russia with WTA TOP10 status (atleast one week this season) in 2007:
Maria Sharapova, Svetlana Kuznetsova, Anna Chakvetadze, Nadia Petrova, Dinara Safina and Elena Dementieva.

Both players from Serbia with WTA TOP10 status (atleast one week this season) in 2007:
Jelena Jankovic and Ana Ivanovic

H2H this season (2007 so far):

Ana Ivanovic (SRB) def. Nadia Petrova (RUS) 6-2 4-2 ret
Ana Ivanovic (SRB) def. Maria Sharapova (RUS) 6-1 0-1 ret
Jelena Jankovic (SRB) def. Dinara Safina (RUS) 6-2 6-2
Jelena Jankovic (SRB) def. Anna Chakvetadze (RUS) 7-6(1) 3-1 ret
Ana Ivanovic (SRB) def. Svetlana Kuznetsova (RUS) 3-6 6-4 7-6(4)
Jelena Jankovic (SRB) def. Elena Dementieva (RUS) 6-2 6-1
Jelena Jankovic (SRB) def. Svetlana Kuznetsova (RUS) 7-5 6-1
Ana Ivanovic (SRB) def. Svetlana Kuznetsova (RUS) 6-0 3-6 6-1
Ana Ivanovic (SRB) def. Maria Sharapova (RUS) 6-2 6-1
Jelena Jankovic (SRB) def. Maria Sharapova (RUS) 4-6 6-3 7-5
Jelena Jankovic (SRB) def. Dinara Safina (RUS) 6-3 3-6 7-6

All six Russians 2007 TOP10 players played atleast once against some of two TOP Serbians players this season, but they always lose this matches (Ana and JJ lead so far in 2007 11-0 ).

Will tommorow Ana Chakvetadze finaly stop this against tired Jelena, or this TOP10 Russians "2007 nightmare" will still continue???

If she lose tommorow, next chances for TOP Russians is 4R of Wimbledon (Chaky will maybe played against Jelena and Nadia maybe against Ana).

EDIT:
Ana Chakvetadze beat Jelena Jankovic 7-6 3-6 6-3 in Rosmalen final match and broke this strike!

and I'm not even fan of Ana Ivanovic... just an objective observer who realize how perfect she is

AMAZING BELGRADE MIRACLE: In just three years (2008-2011) 5 different players born in same city reach world #1 in rankings and several GS titles and finals (WTA singles: Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic, ATP singles: Novak Djokovic, ATP doubles: Nenad Zimonjic and Daniel Nestor... with notable performances of Bojana Jovanovski, Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki which is also all three born in Belgrade)

Zvonareva has beaten Ivanovic twice this year.
Dinara just missed making this an all Russian final.

But Zvonareva (and Shvedova also) is not TOP10 player more than two years and that is reason why i not counted her. For example, Jankovic this season also won all her matches against Zvonareva, Likhovceva, Kirilenko, Vesnina... but this is not interesting matches for this thread - ONLY 2007 TOP10 is counted here.

Maybe most impressive stats here is fact that more than half of this 11 matches (6 of 11) Ana and Jelena played against two best (by far) Russians MaSha and Sveta - and won all 6! Sveta lose all her three matches at her fav clay surface , and MaSha won once at clay, once at grass and once at hardcourt .

Nope. Jelena will beat Anna in straight sets and the "nightmare" will continue.

Vera buried Ana at a major. You're not owning when you're beaten down at a major.
Anna C is 4-2 h2h with Jankovic.

Not only Anna Chakvetadze of Russians 2007 TOP10 players have better career H2H stats than Jelena. Sharapova lead 3-1 against JJ, and Dementiva lead against Ana 2-0. But this is only stats for this season for all this 2007 TOP10 players (two Serbians and six Russians) and in first half of this season H2H score is real disaster for Russians (11-0!!!). And tommorow maybe will be 12-0, and in Wimbley R4 (if no upsets in early rounds) Jelena against Anna and Ana against Nadia have chances to make this things even worse!

Russia is real tennis force in WTA after 2004, and in 2005 and 2006 only TOP10 Belgians (Kim and Justine) "torture" TOP Russians - but both Belgians reach #1 position in that seasons and still not "dominate" like this (in 2005 they have 17-3, in 2006 19-6, H2H against Russians which have TOP10 status atleast one week in that two seasons). I personaly dont have any good explanation for this strange TOP10SRB vs TOP10RUS2007 phenomenom, especialy for Ana which have bad record last season against players from Russia, and this season have very bad loses in straight sets against Zvonareva and Shvedova - but when Ana played against TOP10 Russians this season she even humiliate theys. Against MaSha in two matches she have 6-1, 6-1, 6-2, against Sveta she won first match with injury leg and in second match 1st set won 6-0 and 3rd 6-1, against Petrova in both sets she not lose more than 2 games... Nobody so far in 2007 is not so close to finish this Serbian strike like Dinara today, but she lose in TB of 3rd set, and Anna have chances to do this tommorow but Jelena leading 10-0 against all Russian players this year, and 6-0 against TOP10.

and I'm not even fan of Ana Ivanovic... just an objective observer who realize how perfect she is
