Red face Question for Wimbledon weather experts

Will there be any play during the first week?

No, seriously: What are you expecting for the first couple of days? Just showers or rain all day long?

The forecast has been pretty bad all of this week and it has been pretty good. Sunny with the odd showers. Hopefully it carries on like that.

Re: Question for Wimbledon weather experts

I think Monday looks like a mixture of sunshine and showers but looks cold. Tuesday looks like a wet one.

Saying that Eastbourne has meant to have loads of rain and the only trouble they have had was a delayed start on monday, and some delayes with doubles.

GOOD LUCK IN 2016 GB TENNIS GIRLS

Johanna Konta, Naomi Broady, Tara Moore, Heather Watson , Laura Robson

A lot. 2 words. Everyone does this lol. He's right you know, weather is very variable in the UK.

I think with her serve and her athleticism, her power, her court mobility, I just think when she’s on, she’s the greatest player we’ve ever seen, ever. Now, whether her record is the greatest remains to be seen because she hasn’t retired yet. But I think she is really the greatest player. I have seen Martina and Steffi at their best. There are little chinks in those players’ armor, but it was a different era, where you didn’t need to be the perfect player.

Re: Question for Wimbledon weather experts

Well they were wrong for alot of Eastbourne. Everyday the commentators were like oh tomorrow looks really bad and when you would turn on it would be really sunny If they get the weather we are having now in Dublin though

Grassonkova.

Re: Question for Wimbledon weather experts

Weather forecast was like that at first for the qualifying week as well, and I've been there and it's been very good, so I am not that worried. Yet. I just hope they are a bit faster with resuming play 2 minutes of rain and it takes them 45 minutes to get started again. Ridiculous.
