Palmer rubbishes draft schedule

Apr 10, 2007

ASB Classic tournament director Richard Palmer is rubbishing a draft calendar circulating that shows Auckland is not on the proposed 2009 WTA circuit schedule.
The tour is restructuring under its Roadmap 2010 programme and the draft calendar has a tournament in Brisbane at the start of 2009 but nothing in Auckland
But Palmer says the supposed draft circulating the internet doesn't bare much resemblance to the one he has received from the WTA.
Palmer says the draft draw has omitted a number of 'Series B' tournaments and he is confident the WTA wants Auckland on the tour.

But I, being poor, have only my dreams
I have spread my dreams under your feet
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams
