It still not officialy but she said that in an interview with Israeli media. she will rest and train in Palm springs and will return to Charleston...

Yes. To reach at least the QF she only has to win 2 matches and not 3, that makes a difference for that kind of players . Then her training time with Loic Courteau will last a few more days

I thought that was Amelie's coach ... is it something to prepare for Fed Cup?

Yes because of Amélie's "appendicite" he's preparing her for the clay season and for FedCup in Miami as a member of the French fed Cup team.
