Shahar served pretty well tonight

It still wasn't enough to win. but she's clearly improving. if she won the 1st set she would have
had her chance tonight.

she never gives up.

someone asked in a previous thread if she was top 10 material and i wondered who'd make way to allow her in.

my curiousity wanes ...

Peer seems to be a really nice girl. i hope she has a great career. i would call her a work in progress. and hopefully a future top 10 player!

i'd agree, she's got some work ahead but nothing hard work can't overcome.

usually i earmark upcoming players for a big skill that portends future success. Shahar's big skill is her fighting spirit and determination. some great players used similar skills to shock the world.

i've only seen her in two matches, do you think her serve is a potential weapon?

Re: Shahar served pretty well tonight

by serving well, do you mean she managed to hit a serve that someone might have at least some difficulty returning?
