Question Post-Miami Rankings

Does anyone know or have an idea about what the rankings will be after the final on saturday????

Can Serena break the top ten with a win??? And how much will Justine increase her lead by???

no, Serena can only climb to 11. Peer will be 15, chakvetadze will climb to 10. Henin will remain 1.

I think if she loses though she will only be top 15 but i'm not sure exactly where somewhere in between 13-15 though

Yup, Shahar and Serena were battling the 12# with a victory, now that Shahar lost, she remains 15, while a Serena's victory over Henin would send her to 11, if she loses, I think she remains 12.

She'll have to go a few rounds at least at Charleston to gain the top 10.

Anna C. (#10) has no points to defend at Amelia Island or Charleston.
Jelena J. (#9) has 2 points to defend.
Nicole V. (#8) has 26 points to defend.

The big question then is Nadia Petrova, who won both tournies and has a boatload to defend (495 points). Which of these players are playing those 2 tournies? I think Jelena is playing both and Serena is playing Charleston.
