He was on the money on Peer tendacies and made recommendations to
Serena on how to nentralize what Peer had beem doing.

I wonder what Peer's coach told her.
They were both animated

Some girls on tour should look to hire Richard. The man has proven result and now people can see he offers sound advice.

Heck, he should be considered for FED CUP coach in the future.

I think that after Serena won that close first set her confidence built and Peer's fell. This happens often and causes last sets to be lopsided often.

IE: Lindsay-Serena AO 2005.

I don't know how receptive Serena actually was. But it was a treat to see her pick up her game that quickly. Lol and I'm sure he'll take credit for it.

You don't close your eyes, even for a milli-second,
when Serena is backed into a corner and looking to bust out.

I agree. She actually seemed to be ignoring him as I have said in another thread.
I don't think Serena really did anything that Richard told her during coaching.

Shahar got annoyed at herself for not getting the break early in the second set, she went down a notch in her game and Serena just controlled from there.

"Everybody always said I didn't get that job because my wife is white. If you're not strong enough to look through that then you have the issue."

well richard did tell her that Shahar was consistently hitting behind her. At one point near the end I specifically saw Serena hit a shot and wait for Shahar to try and go behind her again. She anticipated it and hit a winner or forced error.
