Well done, Momo (I had a feeling it would be in 3 ) !

Nice match, Tati

Excellent first two sets Tati. But you needed to do better in the third though I'm guessing Mauresmo elevated her game.

Mauresmo's serve was alot more effective in the final set, well judging by the stats anyway.

hopefully someone will upload this match.

Mauresmo played pretty bad but Tati couldn't take her chances and choked on her bps
Tati should have really won in two, but when she lost the 2nd set she gave up the 3rd by trying to hit a winner off every ball but missing.

Re: Sydney 2R: Mauresmo(1) d. Golovin 6-7(4), 7-5, 6-1

i actually think Amelie is the one to beat in the Australian Open (she is the defender after all).

that switch in her head turned last year...now it doesn't matter if she has ugly early round matches...she gets dangerous in the latter stages and today is no exception.

Amelie will be in there fighting and grinding......she's my pick to win her 3rd grand slam.

This scoreline is freakishly similiar to their other prior meeting in Paris indoors last year - 6-7 (5) 7-5 6-2 then. Tough luck, Tati.
