That french player is back to the Top 50 after reaching the QF at Auckland Tier IV ousting 4th seed and last year winner n°18 Bartoli in straight sets before falling to surprising compatriot n°75 Pin.

Yvonne MEUSBURGER n°125 (+10):
Yvonne stated the season with prety smart results reching the 2nd at Auckland Tier IY as a qualifer. She ousted n°76 Bychkova in the main draw before losing to eventual semi finalist n°75 Pin.
Paola SUREZ n°154 (+24):
The road to her former Top 10 ranking is merely unreachable (n°9 in 2004). Howevre, at 30 y.o, Paola is back to the compettion full of pleasure and surely expectations. Last week, she made it to the QF at Auckland Tier IV upsetting 6th seed/n°34 Muller en route before falling to another veteran 32 y.o and n°70 Craybas.
