Filderstadt or Stuttgart?

Did you guys prefer the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix to be held in the old venue in Filderstadt (1978-2005) or the new venue in Stuttgart (2006-onwards).

For me personally I liked it when the tournament was held in Filderstadt. I just liked the way the center court was set out, how the atmosphere of the crowd made it conforting for all the fans watching & just simply the colour of the courts.

The tournament held in Stuttgart now is great too but not as good as when it was held in Filderstadt - my opinion though. But the tournament in Stuttgart only has completed 1 year so I could change my mind later on you know.

Discuss.

Filderstadt

Something was bound to go right sometime today, All these broken pieces fit together to make a perfect picture of us
It got cold and then dark so suddenly and rained, It rained so hard the two of us were the only thing
That we could see for miles and miles
And in the middle of the flood I felt my worth, When you held onto me like I was your little life raft
Please know that you were mine as well
Drops of water hit the ground like God's own tears
And spread out into shapes like Salad bowls and basins and buckets for bailing out the flood

I liked the Filderstadt tourny better, the setting was a lot more intimate ie, more closer to the players. Also the court surface was uber-fast, just my kind of surface to watch

Re: Filderstadt or Stuttgart?

From what I saw, I liked the changes in Stuttgart. But I haven't attended either venue, so I can't be sure.

I prefer when the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix was held in Filderstadt.
But they make me no difference... The tournament in Filderstadt is as well as in Stuttgart .

Re: Filderstadt or Stuttgart?

I remember reading how the players loved Filderstadt.
Will this tournament be an A or B in 2009?
Is Porsche ready to spend more money?

Re: Filderstadt or Stuttgart?

Filderstadt seemed much faster for me, thus i would prefer it for the indoor season - but the tournament is one of the best thanks to near perfect organization and feel to it.

if you have nothing important to say, please do so in non-tennis forum. if you have something you think is important, but is actually rubbish regarding anything other than tennis - please do so in the non-tennis forum. if you have something tennis related to say, but it's actually "OMG, X player is so h0t!1" or "who has the biggest boobs on the wtatour" please do so in menstennisforum, under "wta forum". if you have something important, tennis-related and interesting to say please do so. No one in the world can understand how much tennis means to someone, except another fan.
