I know it's not exactly fair to do this because a lot of these champions are so unique and great, but this is just for fun and speculation and of course, hope. :P.

I think in terms of the fight the focus and real mental toughness as well as her playing style and lets not forget the fashion statements, Masha is somewhat simlar to Serena.

Every player is irreplaceable.
The names next to the numbers in the rankings may change, but you can never refill a void a champion leaves behind.

victoria mamarenka
madison keys l johanna konta l maria sharapova l saint karolina pliskova l ana konjuh l naomi osaka l oceane dodin
viva lindsay mamaport
vietkam: 2003-2012. #neverforget

Quite true, every player is their own person and they all leave their special mark on the tour.

Re: Who will be the new stars/replacement of the current champions???

Golovin seems a more suitable replacement to Hingis than Kirilenko. Maria plays a touch more skmilarly to Hingis than Tati does, but Golovin more than makes up for that with better/more impressive results. Hingis has the backhand, and Golovin's got the forehand.

Jelena Dokic.Vera Zvonareva.Tatiana Golovin.Mary Pierce.Monica Seles.Martina Hingis.Anna Kournikova

I agree that Serena and Justine are the two hardest to find replacements for in the next generation of stars.

Looking at my list I would make two modifications.
Myskina- Shahar Peer
Hingis- Tatiana Golovin
...everything else feels right.
