Tier V?

I have seen people talking about Tier V before. Do Tier V tournaments exist? Are they WTA tournaments or ITF? I have never seen one before? Are Tier V another name for $75K ITF tournaments?

Can somebody please explain?

Re: Tier V?

they cut it out, and yes the last few tierVs were in australia that couldn't organize to the new plans quiet on time.
forest hills wasn't a tierV because in comparsion it's exactly what you get for a tierIV

if you have nothing important to say, please do so in non-tennis forum. if you have something you think is important, but is actually rubbish regarding anything other than tennis - please do so in the non-tennis forum. if you have something tennis related to say, but it's actually "OMG, X player is so h0t!1" or "who has the biggest boobs on the wtatour" please do so in menstennisforum, under "wta forum". if you have something important, tennis-related and interesting to say please do so. No one in the world can understand how much tennis means to someone, except another fan.

not really, Tier V offered more points and more prize money than 75k...

This can't last. This misery can't last. I must remember that and try to control myself. Nothing lasts really. Neither happiness nor despair. Not even life lasts very long. There'll come a time in the future when I shan't mind about this anymore, when I can look back and say quite peacefully and cheerfully how silly I was. No, no, I don't want that time to come ever. I want to remember every minute, always, always to the end of my days.
