Exclamation Changes 2007 Schedule: New Tier III in Kutzbuhel. Budapest & Tel Aviv Tier IVs Moved

New Tier III in Kitbuhel, Austria, the same week as Stanford

Budapest Tier IV has been moved to the week before Warsaw & Estoril, getting rid of the "dead week" on the calendar which forced everybody to rest

next year the week before the WTA championships in Madrid, the tournaments will be Quebec City Tier III and Tel Aviv Tier IV ...

Tel Aviv may end up with a stronger field

Kitzbuhel in July, I really don't understand the sense why they start a red clay tournament in July long after the european red clay season has finished and soon before the US Open on HARDCOURT will start. Red Clay between Grass and Hardcourt Season? That is so stupid..

Simona Halep, Petra Kvitova, Sabine Lisicki, Flavia Pennetta

STEFFI GRAF, KIM CLIJSTERS, LINDSAY DAVENPORT & AMÉLIE MAURESMO

exactly, and the tournament director of Hasselt said he thought Kitzbuhel would attract more top players or something yet there is Stanford at the same week and why would players play on clay over hard when the US Open is coming up and the Roland Garros is over

Well, not really if you consider that July and August are the best months for Middle Europe regarding weather, so not having ANY outdoor tournament during that time period here wouldn't make sense either.

you cant play Kitzbuhel in April or probably May.

why complaining about clay events in July

why are there hard court events when they should be playing indoors after US Open

Good luck to my favs

So Linz will probably be the last week for players to qualify for the YEC??

No top player would go to Tel Aviv and I cant see a top player going to Quebec City then back to Madrid.
