YEC SF Battle: Mauresmo v Clijsters :boxing:

Former bridesmaids Kim and Amelie will collide - both were ranked #1 before winning their first GS. Just 14 months ago, both were slamless. Now they own 3 slams between them

Amelie has won the last 3 matches, including last year at YEC and when Kim retired this year at AO. But Kim leads the H2H 8-5

I hope Amelie wins but I am afraid she will be steamrolled by Kim

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
After much thought and consideration I have decided that Ms. Amelie Mauresmo has a better chance than Ms. Kim Clijsters in winning this match.

Could go either way, tho

Re: YEC SF Battle: Mauresmo v Clijsters :boxing:

i think amelie has expended quite a bit of mental energy qualifying for the semis after her disastrous start against petrova and she has played two hard 3 setters. kim should be slightly fresher. although it would be good to see mauresmo, as the current #1, against either masha or juju, the #1 after the tournie, i think it will be clijsters emerging victorious and then going on to lose in the final in straight sets.

Re: YEC SF Battle: Mauresmo v Clijsters :boxing:

As a Kim fan I hope Kim will win ofcourse
I give her more chance to beat Amelie than I would have given her to beat Justine.

So, I'm happy that she's playing Amelie

And no surprise that pierce0415 is hoping that Amelie will win ..

Good luck for the 2017 season:

• Ana Ivanovic
• Angelique Kerber
• Kiki Bertens

Kirsten Flipkens, Caroline Wozniacki, Serena Williams, Petra Kvitova, Jelena Jankovic, Belinda Bencic, Sorana Cirstea

If it's close this should be a great match.
YEC Queen Mauresmo with another vintage performance to win in three sets.

It's going to be a Kimmie/Sharapova final. They have amazing rallies.

Hi KClijsters
I always cheer for Kim's opponent unless she is playing Nadia Petrova
