YEC coverage in Australia?

I couldn't see it listed being on fox in the next few days - is it on somewhere here?

They've got 3 channels now FFS surely they can spare one of them for this!

Top 10: Ashleigh Barty, Caroline Garcia, Jamie Hampton, Jelena Jankovic, Agnieszka Radwanska, Lucie Safarova, Maria Sharapova, Karolina Sprem, Sam Stosur, Jarmila Wolfe.

All time favourite: Anna Chakvetadze

Re: YEC coverage in Australia?

The only thing that i know is that the semi-finals (delayed) will be played on Fox Sports One on Sunday 12th November starting at 11.30am and concluding at 3pm - Eurosport Coverage! I know how you feel, its like women's tennis is being snubbed!!!!

Re: YEC coverage in Australia?

It's ridicolous especially after showing that joke of a Paris Masters last week

At least something is on. Hopefully SBS or Sports Tonight will show some reports if it isn't too much to ask!

Top 10: Ashleigh Barty, Caroline Garcia, Jamie Hampton, Jelena Jankovic, Agnieszka Radwanska, Lucie Safarova, Maria Sharapova, Karolina Sprem, Sam Stosur, Jarmila Wolfe.

All time favourite: Anna Chakvetadze

Re: YEC coverage in Australia?

Yeah, but its still frustrating ... I mean, they can afford to manage and show men's matches all throughout the year, but the WTA IS NEVER shown .. only a final every now and then at ridiculous hours of the morning! But like you said, at least its something!

Re: YEC coverage in Australia?

They show State Cricket, Baseball and English First Division football so why can they not show more of this?

Surely with Maria, Kim, Hingis etc it would rate ok? Just the usual "middle age men perving at Maria" demographic would be enough to justify it!

I see there's something on tomorrow nite on Fox Sports 3 called "Womens Grand slams 2006" which is "Highlights from the 2006 French, Wimbledon and US Open tennis Championships".

Top 10: Ashleigh Barty, Caroline Garcia, Jamie Hampton, Jelena Jankovic, Agnieszka Radwanska, Lucie Safarova, Maria Sharapova, Karolina Sprem, Sam Stosur, Jarmila Wolfe.

All time favourite: Anna Chakvetadze

Re: YEC coverage in Australia?

Yeah, I thought they would have shown the whole tournament now that they have the three channels, but nope.

Re: YEC coverage in Australia?

I thought their coverage was improving.

I mean, we got Moscow, Stuttgart, Zurich and Linz. Heck, that's better than what we used to get.
