Shots for Africa
Serena @ 15:07
Did you know that before you go to Africa you have to get certain shots to make sure that you don't catch anything? Well I am telling you that tses shots HURT! They are so painful that I could not move my arms for two days! Ahhhhh.....
I just was feeing so weak. Not only could I not move my arms, but I also got sick the next day. I was feeling dizzy, and nauseous. My cousin Rachel R. Alexander.... and u must say R between the Rachel and Alexander, because she is so proud of the R. But anyways Rachel also is my personal assistant (as well as my confidant... she knows just about everything about me) and she is going to Africa as well so she had to get the shots as well, and boy was she not feeling well! As a matter of fact she is really sick right now, and she has been in bed for two days..... is it worth it? I know it will be. Going home to my home country is worth all of it. I can't wait to write and tell everyone about all of our adventures in Africa. It’s going to be a blast. Stay tuned!!
I LOVE watching HGTV

How are you??? I am soooo beat. You see I LOVE watching HGTV. This is a channel filled with things to do for your house. I also like house hunters, designers challenge, and the Kenneth brown show. To be honest I like every show that comes on that channel including the Carol Duvall show where I learn various house wife trades! Why am I telling you about this?? Well you see I watch this channel so much that I decided to redo my entire house. I started with a blank house. It is a house that I have in Palm Beach and never did anything with. It’s a 5 bedroom, 5 ˝ bathroom home in a gated community.... well I gave myself a budget to get the house
2. Crown Molding
5. Accessories (plants ect.)
6. Everything you would need in a kitchen
Basically I got everything for this house. It’s what you would call a turn key. All you have to do is turn the key and move in!
All I can say is I over extended myself. I was running around for bargains, for discounts for everything. I just really wanted to make sure I could stay in my budget. My best deal however, was when I went to Macys and they had a clearance sale. Well I got 8 bowls, 8 plates, 8 mugs, 8 breakfast plates, and 1 serving bowl for.......... 24 dollars! Including tax! I could not believe this buy! It was incredible! Simply incredible! But it was fun all in all to be running around trying to make bargains. I went to approximately 20 stores. My friends Ron, and Kerrie, helped me, and we installed fans, chandeliers, lights, everything! It was insane!
A week into it Rachel R. Alexander came and we put together bookshelves, and a desk! I promise you I will never do that again! Rachel will you???? Also in the neighborhood some kids came over and helped me. Jake, Josh, and Eric! They were awesome! Thanks so much guys ya’ll were the best! I have the coolest neighbors! They are so sweet! Its awesome to get help, and such love from people that live next door to you.
Well anyways, I learned that I no longer allow myself to watch HGTV. (Just incase I decide to do another project) I now watch the food network! Hummm I wonder if I too can make that suffle that the cook was making... ill try.........
