Which Has Been The Best and The Worse Year For Your Favs

Martina Hingis: her best year ofcourse was 97 but when she reaches her best game was between 99 and 00. 02 her worse year, injuries retirement, matchpoints in AO 06 was (and is) very exciting because of her returns to the game but i was a litle disapointed, in the beginnig of the year she was fantastic till rome but then all good but nothing special

Re: Which Has Been The Best and The Worse Year For Your Favs

I'd have to say last year was Patty's best year, even though she won Zurich in 2002.

This is Nadia's best year.

Peng's best year was definitely last year.

Dinara's had her best year, but hopefully next year will be even better.

2016 Title(s):
Suicide: Strasbourg

Ouch. This hasn't been a very good year for you then.

Except for Maria.

Last year was good at it was ONE OF Lindsay's Best Years plus Venus.

Let's say the US Open turned it around for me.

Мари́я Ю́рьевна Шара́пова , Јелена Јанковић, Venus Williams.

Re: Which Has Been The Best and The Worse Year For Your Favs

Lindsay:

2006 easily qualifies as the worst year of her professional career. It contains her second longest layoff because of injury (the longest being in 2002 when she had knee surgery). Her lowest year end ranking since 1992 (when she was ranked 159). Only the second year of her pro career where she has failed to win a singles title(the other being 2002). And it is the first time since 1994 that Lindsay has failed to qualify for the Tour Championships(she qualified in 2003, but didn't play due to foot surgery).
Horrible Year.

Best: Debatable. 1998, 1999, or 2000 all can qualify.

Re: Which Has Been The Best and The Worse Year For Your Favs

That's pretty easy as Misa only played 2 full years on the tour!

Best: 2006 - because she won 2 titles, and made top 50.
Worst: 2005 - that knee injury at Rosmalen!
