I thought it meant the clay was green, so that's why I was a bit confused, as I've never seen a green clay court before

Green clay courts are normally made of Har-Tru, and are faster than red clay courts (which are generally made of crushed brick mixed with other materials).

lenaD is pretty close to winning a title on every surface, i can definatley see her winning a red clay tournie sometime in her career and i think she is gonna win S'hertogenbosc in one of the next few years, plus WD Vee you beat Serena on this one

Grassonkova.

red clay is made using crushed red bricks and green clay is made with crushed stone and other materials. green clay is slightly faster but more 'slippery'. (i think).

Re: 10 active players who have reached finals on 6 different surfaces

petrova is 5 of 6 then.
the grass season wasn't available for her this year - she'll get onto the list next year

great stats.

if you have nothing important to say, please do so in non-tennis forum. if you have something you think is important, but is actually rubbish regarding anything other than tennis - please do so in the non-tennis forum. if you have something tennis related to say, but it's actually "OMG, X player is so h0t!1" or "who has the biggest boobs on the wtatour" please do so in menstennisforum, under "wta forum". if you have something important, tennis-related and interesting to say please do so. No one in the world can understand how much tennis means to someone, except another fan.
