YEC Scenarios. Kim, Martina & Patty compete for final 2 slots (Nadia and Elena in)

If Patty wins Linz and Hasselt (if she gets a last minute WC), she'll qualify...

If Patty beats Kim in the final of Hasselt, with Patty winning Linz the week before, Martina will be out ...

If Martina wins her next match in Zurich, she's in, leaving Patty and Kim to battle it out for the final slot. Patty will be 49 points behind Kim if she wins Linz, so Patty has to win 2 more matches than Kim in Hasselt, Kim will qualify if she reaches the finals.

All this is assuming Patty plays Hasselt. If she ends her year at Linz as she has planned, Kim and Martina will qualify...

it will be an AWESOME field, if all are healthy, it's gonna be AWESOME, esp now that kim is back in hasselt and justine's been given the green light

It will always be Arantxa, hall of famer! and martina hingis and kim clijsters - amazing legends
ana ivanovic and the italian girls, especially pennetta (forza azzurre! RG CHAMP FRANCESCA AND FINALIST SARA!)
aga, vika, sam, na in the next tier

will nos 9 and 10 go to madrid as reserves in case of injury to any of the others during the yec? i recall this has happened in previous yec's and the reserve takes over if one of the top 8 has to wd during the tournament.

Hm, a great field, but Kim and Justine have hardly played a match the last few months.

So, a bit difficult for them to be at their best.

They are probably the most talented, but still ...
