Who's Got the Funk / Who's in the Trunk?

Here is the latest from www.tennis-x.com

Do you agree?

Who's Got the Funk...
1. Roger Federer
Swiss demi-god makes 1st appearance since winning 3rd Slam in 4 tries this year, in Japan for the 1st time, and blogging to boot.

2. James Blake
Bangs a gong at Bangkok, beating Safin and Ljubicic for 4th 2006 title.

3. Chakvetadze, Bonadenko, Daniiliou
Chaky and Bondy win 1st career titles, Greek Dani surfaces after prolonged slump.

4. Filippo Volandri
Protects the house, winning homecountry clay title at Palermo.

5. Murray Brothers
Not Bill and brothers from Caddyshack, but Brits Andy and Jamie, making the Bangkok final and giving Britain some Davis Cup hope as a pairing.

...Who's in the Trunk
5. Lindsay Davenport
Wrestling with the retirement decision, the American nonetheless takes the cash for the Quebec City appearance later this month? Quebec City?

4. Sania Mirza
Big serve and forehand, but sometimes even good coaching can't overcome youthful impatience and an inability to construct points.

3. Martina Hingis
You lost to Mirza. Didn't you get the backhand memo?

2. Ivan Ljubicic
Hope that horrible Bangkok wasn't an indication of a serious shoulder injury. Like Baghdatis. And Johansson. And Verkerk. And Capriati. And...

1. Francesca Schiavone
0-8 in career tournament finals. And you're not going to get a much better shot than Alona Bondarenko. What will break 1st, Schiavone's record of Blake's 0-9 in five-setters?

Мари́я Ю́рьевна Шара́пова , Јелена Јанковић, Venus Williams.

Why is Federer praised for playing the mickey mouse event in Japan (where he no doubt received a massive fee), but Lindsay is slated for playing Quebec

Ivanovic * Kvitova * Serena

I completely agree.
Lindsay isn't top ten anymore and people forget that her ranking is crap because of her being out for so long, so what if she's playing a tier 3. God forbid.

Yeah, pretty unfair to Lindsay & Sania there. Sania's first serve is alright, but its her second serve that's a bigger liability than her backhand (shot-wise). Even Martina said after her loss that Sania's backhand has improved a lot. Plus, Sania's looking WAY better than she has in a while.
