I just realised: Shahar Peer = Sandrine Testud

Anyone else seeing the similarities in their groundstrokes?

Sandrine

Remember when she won Filderstadt, beating like eleven Top-10 players along the way? That was awesome.

And yeah, their games are pretty similar.

I've been saying that for years now.
http://www.wtaworld.com/showthread.php?t=159719

The forehand, the backhand, the volley, the serve, even the movement, very similar.
They even have the similar pony tails.
Shahar has more power in her game but like Sandrine she moves well and plays good defense.

Shahar will wait for her shots, then once she sees her opponent out of place on court, she come in.
That was something Sandrine was very good at.

It's hard to overpower Shahar, her gamestyle is easier to outwit though.
The same was the case with Sandrine.
