what was the least amount of games lost in winning a grand slam?

just wondering the least amount of games lost by a player in the process of winning a grand slam? thanks and thought it would be interesting!

Pierce lost 30 games in Australia '95. That's basically 2 games a set for 7 matches.

lol dav i never thought it was! ha ha i was just curious although masha didnt lose too many games during her win at the us open but i am clever enough to know that their have been more dominating players while winning grand slams! lol

Serena in 2002 lost 29 games at the US Open. Not sure if that's the record but to give you an example of how dominant that was. Henin was dominant at this year's French and lost 39 games. Pierce in 95 lost 30 games.

It really should have been Pierce at the 94 Roland Garros but she screwed up in the finals.
