More Reason for Respect - Beating the Heat...

I find women's tennis terribly exciting. Regardless of the player, whether a fave or not, I also take my hat off for the tours best players.

Today my dad and I decided on hitting the tennis courts earlier this afternoon. I had my doubts with the 90 degree weather, but decided to play anyway. Playing on a hardcourt at 2:00 pm prooved to be a bad idea. I played well for the first 3 games, winning them all, but quickly fatigued, dropping serve and nearly dropped myself. I was like a piece of lettuce in a frying pan; I quickly heated up and withered away. Sadly, I had to retire after only 10 or so minutes, up 3-2.

Although I am far from the form of top tour players, I have to take my hat off to them. I can't imagine playing in the blistering heat of the Australian Open final. I have to give a ton of credit to all the women on the WTA Tour! Whooo Hoo!
